Happy Weekend!

It’s Friday everyone! We made it to the weekend and what a busy week it’s been here at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta! Because of that, we thought we’d give you a little run down of just what happened!

MONDAY: We jumped on the blogging band wagon and Goethe Does Atlanta was born! What do you think of it so far?

TUESDAY: We ate the remaining clementines that were on the conference table (it’s a change from chocolate!) and made sure everything was ready for the big exhibit opening…

WEDNESDAY: We held a reception to mark the opening of our new exhibit focused on the life of Hélène Berr and mark the 51st anniversary of the Elyseé Treaty. And our friend little Goethe went on his first adventure!

THURSDAY: The latest lecture in our European Science Café series took place at The Wine Lounge at Java Vino with guest speaker Claire Berger from Georgia Tech. We also revealed where Goethe had been hanging out!

Goethe - Classroom - Reveal

Yep, in a classroom!

FRIDAY: Well that’s today!

See, we told you it’s been a busy one!

Oh and this one’s for the Bundesliga fans among you – tomorrow is the day you’ve all been waiting for – the end of the winter break! So, jump out of bed (we know that’s tough on a Saturday morning!) and head on down to the Goethe-Zentrum to watch the games progress live with other Bungesliga fans! We can’t promise your team will win but we can promise you all the goals as they happen along with some coffee and possibly some breakfast treats!

Happy weekend! What have you got planned? Hope y’all have a good one!

Don’t forget to stop by for some more blog action next week!
