European Science Café: Lecture #2

The Consulate General of France in Atlanta and the Atlanta European Science Café are pleased to present the latest lecture in the European Science Café series:

‘Young Solar Systems in Our Own Backyard’

Exoplanet artist conceptionAlthough astronomers have been discovering exoplanets since the 1990’s, only recently have we found a planetary system that resembles our own.

Nicole Cabrera

Speaker Nicole Cabrera will address the challenges of explaining Hot Jupiters and a new method that could help us understand their origins as well as the formation timescales for giant planets.
