It’s the weekend!
And what a week it has been! I think we’re all secretly happy the weekend is here right?
It was a busy one here at the Goethe-Zentrum with comings and goings all around. Here’s what went on in our land this week:
MONDAY: The week started off pretty normal, we caught up after the weekend, worked on some new events and everything ran smoothly. Oh and our little friend Goethe wanted us to guess where he’s been on his holidays!
TUESDAY: We said thank you and goodbye to our intern Marina with a farewell lunch in our auditorium. Marina was at the Goethe-Zentrum for 6 months and really became part of the team, helping us in all sorts of different areas. She’ll be missed! Goethe also revealed where he’s been hiding…did you guess it was Münster? Lucky thing!
Look at the weather too! Our little friend seems to have had a good time!
WEDNESDAY: We ate a lot of Milka chocolate that appeared on the conference table from Germany, along with some donuts. Oh dear.
THURSDAY: Preparations are now well underway for our event on Monday, March 31 – Kulturhäuser der DDR but we still have a lot to do so Thursday was pretty much taken up by it.
FRIDAY: Turned into another day of preparations – we’re nearly there now though!
SATURDAY: The Bundesliga boys are cheering on their teams again! We reckon it’s the only time they happily get out of bed early on a Saturday!
So that was our week! How was yours?
Make sure to join us for some more fun next week, and if you’re around, drop by for our event on Monday – you can find out all the details here.
And don’t forget to sign up to a language class before our early bird discount ends on Sunday! You can still sign up afterwards but you won’t get the reduced rate. What are you waiting for?
Happy weekend everyone!
