In Pictures: The Green Market
Yesterday, we went out and about and mixed with our Colony Square neighbours at the Green Market. It was a chance for us to go out into our local community and spread the word about the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta, and if you ask us, that’s always a good thing!
So, along with our French colleagues, we set up our little booth just outside the food court:
There was all sorts of different local businesses who joined in with everything from flowers, pickles and butters to peanut butter, peaches and German breads – we were definitely excited by the last one on that list and all rushed over to buy some treats!
Aside from buying treats and trying the different foods on offer, we also talked to people about our language courses, upcoming events, including the Soccer World Cup, and about how the Goethe-Zentrum works and stays alive – that’s all thanks to you guys supporting us remember? Thank you!
Oh and we gave out some chocolate because everyone loves chocolate right?
Here are a few pics of the others stalls who set up around us:
We loved getting mixing with the local community, making friends with our neighbours and hopefully encouraging a few more people to walk through the doors and into the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta. Hopefully the Green Market will happen again soon!
