It’s that time of year again…time to get your name on the list for one of our fall language courses! Yes, we’re enrolling students now so be sure to get your registration completed as soon as possible to secure your place and make use of our Earlybird offer to save you some cash!

This quarter we have, as usual, courses available for all language learner levels, from beginner to advanced and everything in between! There’s also a series of special courses available, along with new classes starting in Hall County!

So, the fall session kicks off on Monday, September 29, 2014 and runs through to December 13, 2014. Earlybird discounts are available until Saturday, September 20, 2014, saving you $25 on any standard language course. So, don’t delay, check out our courses today and get signed up!

Here’s what we’re offering during the fall session:

First Year (Beginner)
A 1.1 – Wednesday 6pm – 8:45pm, Saturday 1pm – 3:45pm
A 1.2 – Tuesday 6pm – 8:45pm
A 1.3 – Tuesday 6pm – 8:45pm, Saturday 1pm – 3:45pm
A 1.4 – Monday 6pm – 8:45pm

Second Year (Advanced Beginner)
A 2.1 – Saturday 9:30am – 12:15pm
A 2.4 – Wednesday 6pm – 8:45pm
A2 Conversation & Grammar – Thursday 6pm – 8:45pm

Third/Fourth Year (Intermediate)
B1 Conversation & Grammar – Tuesday 6pm – 8:45pm
B1+ – Tuesday 6pm – 8:45pm

Fifth/Sixth Year (Advanced)
C1 (Register des Deutschen) – Monday 6pm – 8:45pm
C2 – Tuesday 6pm – 8:45pm

All the above standard courses begin during the week of Monday, September 29, 2014, and meet once a week for 2.5 hours for 10 weeks, unless otherwise noted.
Basic Tuition: $350

As usual, we’re also offering a series of special courses this session, here’s what we have:

B1/B2 Conversation – Saturday 9:30am – 12:15pm
Practice your conversation skills at the B-level on a variety of topics and current events in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Tuition: $350

C1/C2 Conversation – Tuesday 10am – 12:45pm
Practice your conversation skills at the C1/C2 level in a relaxed atmosphere on a variety of topics.
Tuition: $350

Register der deutschen Sprache (C1) – Monday 6pm – 8:45pm
Explore the various social and regional varieties of the German language, including business German and colloquialisms. (C-level proficiency is required for this course.)
Tuition: $350

Literature (B2/C1 level) – Thursday 6pm – 7:30pm (Short Session)
Explore the exciting world of German literature with this course on the words of Kurt Tucholsky, taught at the B2/C1 level.
Tuition: $230

German History of the 19th Century – Wednesday 6pm – 8:30pm
Join us on our journey through the 19th century as “Germany” goes from being a geographic entity to the economic and political behemoth of Imperial Germany. While looking at key events in chronological order, we will also look at certain topics as they played out over the entire era. This course will be taught in English. All course materials, including English translations of texts, will be provided.
Tuition: $300

As part of a new partnership with the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta will be offering German classes in Greater Hall County starting September 2014. A 10-week German for beginners (A1.1) course is scheduled to start on Monday, September 22 at 4:00pm (Tuition: $400). Classes will be held on Mondays once a week for 2.5 hours.
