DON’T MISS OUT: Piano Battle – Combat on the Keys

We’re just one week away from when black and white will go into battle – have you got your VIP Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta fundraiser tickets yet?

Next Tuesday, internationally recognized pianists, Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis, will go head to head in a piano battle at the Rialto Center for the Arts in Atlanta. You may remember we hosted this incredible pair at the Steinway Piano Galleries last year and it was a fantastic event!

Here’s what happens:

Two pianists, six rounds, Chopin vs. Liszt, Debussy vs. Schubert, Black vs. White. Who will be first to cross the finishing line? The audience will decide!

Developed by pianists Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis, Piano Battle pits these two gifted artists on stage in a program featuring various works from the classical piano repertoire. Both pianists have distinctly different performance styles, which they will display as they improvise on works requested by the audience.

They will battle it out against each other during 6 rounds of music, all your have to do is decide who was the best and hold up the voting card with the color of the pianist you preferred. Simple, right? And it’s expected to be a night of fantastic music, fun and laughter!
