WORKSHOP: How to apply for jobs in Germany

Join us as we host two information session about the how-to’s of applying for a job in Germany. These could definitely change your life and send it into a new direction you never thought possible!

First impressions, like here in the United States, play a decisive role in a job application. If an employment application is not carefully done and is full or errors, it will be discarded by the head of personnel. To avoid that happening, we have a great couple of workshops to help you to learn what needs your particular attention to help you to nail that job interview, jump on a plane and work in Germany!

Workshop Number 1

Here we will give a general overview of the following topics:
  • Forms of address
  • Cover letter
  • Background
  • Past work references
  • Other applicable references and certifications
When: Saturday, May 9, 2015
Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Where: Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta
Admission: $52.50 for Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta Members, $75.00 for Non-Members

Workshop Number 2

Here we will go much deeper into the application and résumé process, including how to handle important points in an interview.
When: Saturday, May 30, 2015
Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Where: Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta
Admission: $87.50 for Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta Members, $125.00 for Non-Members

Both workshops will be facilitated by Mrs. Martina Kraus, holder of a graduate degree in business management. She has successfully worked as a personal instructor in the area of how to conduct a job search.  She will offer pointers for your own job and assist in its planning.

Intermediate German language skills will be needed for both workshops.
