EVENT: European Short Films and Summer Party!

Guys, we thought it was high time we got in the party mood and celebrated the summer! Yes, we know it’s nearly over but did you really want to be partying in those hot Atlanta temperatures? We thought not! So, we decided to stretch the summer out, team up with our French and Swiss friends and of course, invite you all to be here!

We would love it if you could join the Consulate General of Switzerland in Atlanta, the Alliance Française d’Atlanta, Eurochannel and the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta as we host a European Summer Party featuring a series of short films.

The ‘Sixth Eurochannel Short Films Tour: Youth in Europe’ is coming to the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta and screening a selection of short films from Switzerland, Germany, Lithuania, Ireland, The Netherlands, Croatia, France, Latvia and Estonia.

It will give you the chance to discover Europe through a cinematic lens; enjoy French and German culture and language showcased through shorts, thus bringing to life the theme of Youth in Europe. Oh and there will be English subtitles, just in case the film is in a language you’re not an expert at!

And of course, a party wouldn’t be a party without beer, wine and cheese, right? These will be served during the intermission – what’s not to love about that?

So, here’s what you need to know:

When: Friday, August 28, 2015
Time: 7:00pm
Where: Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta
Admission: Complimentary
