DONATE: Today is Georgia Gives Day 2015!

Today, Thursday, November 12, 2015 is Georgia Gives Day. Once a year, the state of Georgia comes together to support and celebrate the work done by local nonprofit organizations and it’s a day when we want you to support your friends here at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta! Today, we can realize how big of an impact the nonprofit world has on our community.

We’d love you to help us out in our quest: to beat last year’s amount and raise $5,000 through Georgia Gives Day. As you know, we can’t survive without your help and support. We are so very grateful to all our members, supporters and friends who help us to be who we are today, we wouldn’t be able to teach language classes, stage so many fantastic events and be a big part of Atlanta’s cultural hub.

We’re commemorating 25 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall – a monumental event in history that changed Germany into the reunified country we know it as today.

Therefore, we’re asking you to donate $25 for 25 years – $1 for every year since the wall fell. And, if you need a little more help working out why you should give to the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta, check out this blog post with 10 helpful reasons on why you should donate to us.

Thank you for all your support – without you, we wouldn’t be able to survive, to present our cultural events and head out to schools through our outreach program among other things. With your help, we will be able to reach more students and make them aware of the benefits of learning German and how it can help their careers and of course, stay here in the center of the cultural community in Atlanta.

Don’t forget, you can keep up with everything that’s going on here at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta by following us on social media:
