DON’T MISS OUT: The Goethe 40th Birthday Ball
Guys, the Goethe 40th Birthday Ball is nearly here and tickets are selling fast! We have new additions to our program and just a few spaces left and we don’t want you to miss out – make sure you purchase your tickets before it’s too late!
We would love to celebrate 40 years of Goethe in Atlanta with you, the community who saved the Goethe from closure and enable us to fulfill our mission with your unfaltering support.
We have a fantastic night planned for you at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta – you definitely want to be there and be a part of it! It’s taking place in just over 2 weeks, on Saturday, August 27, 2016 and we have an amazing line up of entertainment and Goethe inspired food and drink that will make it a night to remember!
First off, we have an award ceremony. Now, we don’t want to tell you too much about this one because that would spoil the surprise and make the night a little less exciting! Let’s just say, it’s an award ceremony that you need to see!
7 Stages Theatre: Since 1979, 7 Stages Theatre has brought local, national, and international emerging artwork of social, political, and spiritual importance to Atlanta audiences. For 36 years, artists of all kinds have found 7 Stages to be a haven in the support and development of new works and methods of collaboration.
Erica Arndts: Erica Arndts is an Ohio native expanding her artistry in Atlanta, GA. Her paintings are an ever evolving collection of historical icons, created with electric color and pattern, capturing the essence of an era. Music and pop culture is the main influence and underlying theme in her work.
Capitol City Opera: The latest addition to the evening’s program, Capitol City Opera Company was formed in 1983 to provide Atlanta-area classically trained singers the opportunity to learn and perform complete opera roles and to continue to develop their post-graduate vocal and acting skills on a professional level. Since its inception, the company has flourished as the only opera company in the Southeast that primarily helps local singers establish their careers.
Bill Wilson & Traci Wynn: Well known in the city of Atlanta, jazz duo Traci Wynn and Bill Wilson will welcome you to the Goethe 40th Birthday Ball with their excellent musical skills.
And, along with all this, we have other programs that we’ll be keeping secret until the evening of the ball – we want to leave some things a surprise!
