Guys, we’re celebrating Europe Day this Saturday and we want you to be there! Ready to find out how we’re celebrating everything European? Read on for more!


Europe Day 2017: Family Day!
Saturday, May 6, 2017, 2:00 – 9:00pm
Alliance Française / Goethe Atlanta
Admission: Complimentary

Stop by throughout the afternoon for:

  • 20 minute sample language classes of
    • German
    • French
    • Italian
    • Czech
    • Dutch
    • Greek
    • Slovak
    • Swedish
    • Danish
  • A selection of fun games and puzzles along with outdoor activities for the kids and adults alike!
  • Improve your soccer skills with a coach from Soccer in the Streets!
  • 5:00pm: join us for a lecture on European Opera featuring Mozart’s “The Magic Flute,” Bizet’s “Carmen,” & Verdi’s “Otello,” or a workshop with Théâtre du Rêve, a French theatre company based here in Atlanta.
  • 6:30pm: enjoy a selection of European short films by Eurochannel along with a European wine and cheese reception.

Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta Book Sale

If you’re looking for some German language, history or art books then you need to stop by to check out the huge book sale! Think of a book you want to read, or a genre you’re interested in and we probably have the perfect book for you! Come stop by and see what’s on offer – we’re pretty sure you’ll find something you like! You might want to bring some bags too – we think you’ll want to take home more than one! Each book is $1.00. 
Complimentary parking is available in the Colony Square parking deck – please bring you parking ticket with you for validation.
