School’s just about out for summer and the spring quarter of language courses is nearly over – what will you do? How about you take a 2-week summer break course at the Goethe?! What’s that we hear you say…you want to hear more about it? Read on people, read on!

When learning a language it is essential to practice – practice makes perfect as they say! So, having a break between courses probably isn’t the best idea – especially when trying to master a language like German! So, to help you on your merry language learning way, we’ve created a series of 2-week classes to keep you practicing your German or to help you work on a specific part of the language learning process that you’re struggling with.

So, the classes will take place between June 19 and June 30, 2017 on various days depending on the course you choose.

Intensive Courses

Looking to learn German and fast? Take this 2-week intensive class that will cover the complete A1.1 course. This is a beginner class which will start you off with the basics and allow you to move on to the A1.2 level.

A1.1 Intensive | Mon – Thu | June 19 – 29 | 6:00 – 8:45pm

Tuition: $390.00 members, $450.00 non-members

Grammar Courses

Looking to improve the grammar side of your German language learning? If so, these courses are perfect for you! 2 classes focusing on that German grammar that you just can’t get your head around!

A1 | Mon | June 19 & 26 | 6:00 – 8:45pm
A2 | Tue | June 20 & 27 | 6:00 – 8:45pm
B1 | Wed | June 21 & 28 | 6:00 – 8:45pm

Tuition: $100.00 members, $160.00 non-members

I don’t Understand: Listening Comprehension

If listening to German and working out what people say is your tough spot then take this class! It’s sure to help you out!

Creative Storytelling

Looking for something out of the box to use your German skills with? Why not try out some creative storytelling!

B1 – C2 | Thu | June 22 & 29 | 6:00 – 8:45pm

Elections in Germany

Definitely a hot topic right now! With elections in Germany this September we thought you might like to have a course dedicated to it – we’ll look at how the political system in Germany works along with the election process. (Only for students studying at the B-Level and above)

Understanding your German Co-Workers

We all know there are cultural differences between Americans and Germans, especially when it comes to the workplace! This course will focus on business vocabulary to help you to communicate a little better with your German colleagues.

Tuition: $100.00 members, $160.00 non-members

Expressions and Colloquialisms

Every country has it’s own expressions and colloquialisms – this course will give you an insight to those used in Germany.

C1+ | Tue | June 20 & 27 | 10:00am – 12:45pm
