DONATE: Giving To Goethe: End-Year Campaign 2017

To our loyal members, supporters and friends,

You are the reason we’ve spent another successful year at the heart of Atlanta’s vibrant cultural community. Without your support, contributions, attendance in classes, and participation in cultural events, we would not be able to fulfill our mission.

Thanks to you, 2017 was another busy year at the Goethe:

  • You celebrated the #CanYouFashionIt project with us, a series of events looking into Israeli German fashion from 1914 to the present day.
  • You joined us for Europe Day with sample language classes, games, and European short films.
  • Your dedication enabled us to host programs for over 1500 college and high school students through career days, intercultural workshops, and speaker visits.
  • Your support helped us to host our very first European Studies Summit with the Alliance Française d’Atlanta, a summer camp for high school students.

As a locally funded Georgia nonprofit organization, the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta relies on the community for about 50 percent of its budget. This money, approximately $300,000.00, comes from specific grants and fundraising from supporters like you.

Would you consider helping the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta to continue with its mission? Your support enables us to remain a cultural hub in the city. This year, you can chose how you want to support the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta with either a one-time gift or a recurring monthly donation, an option we’ve recently implemented to make giving easier for you.

Please think about making a pledge. With your dedication, we can continue to grow our programs and serve the Atlanta community and the rest of the Southeast.

P.S – Your support is vital to fulfilling our mission and remaining a central part of the cultural community.
