Guys, the holiday’s are just around the corner and this weekend and into next week we’re getting festive at the Atlanta Christkindl Market!
And what a busy month May was! There’s never a quiet month here at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta and that definitely makes us happy! May saw you celebrating Europe Day with us, the end of the Bundesliga season and a visit from a Jewish school to name but a few! Ready to find out more? Here goes!
August is usually one of our quieter months here at the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta, people are out of town on vacation, school’s out for summer and the weather is just too hot! But, that doesn’t mean we don’t have anything going on at all – quite the contrary! There is always something happening here! So, it’s time for a rundown of what went on in August. Are you sitting comfortably, then we’ll begin!
Guys, we know, it’s been a long summer without any soccer. Sad, sad times. But, the end is in sight and the new Bundesliga soccer season is just around the corner! Yay! Obviously we want to celebrate this in style at an event you don’t want to miss – get your diaries out people, this definitely needs to go in there!
We’re just one week away from when black and white will go into battle – have you got your VIP Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta fundraiser tickets yet?
Next Tuesday, internationally recognized pianists, Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis, will go head to head in a piano battle at the Rialto Center for the Arts in Atlanta. You may remember we hosted this incredible pair at the Steinway Piano Galleries last year and it was a fantastic event!
Remember when we told you about the TEASE – Transatlantic Exhibition of Art in the South East exhibition opening? Well, it’s all taking place next week and we would hate for you to miss out!
Well, not yet but give it a few weeks and it will be! We may still be basking in that World Cup winning glory and not yet 100 per cent over the excitement but, it’s time to think about Bundesliga again!
Are you ready to check out a new exhibition? One based on the Berlin Palace maybe? Well, you’re definitely in the right place! Get your diary ready because we have got a treat for you:
Traveling Exhibition: “The Berlin Palace – Humboldt Forum Foundation: The Project.”
