EVENT: Europe Day 2016

It’s that time of the year again people, time to celebrate Europe Day! So, head on down to the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta to celebrate with us on Monday May 9, 2016!

Join the Consulate General of France in Atlanta, the US World War I Centennial Commission, the Georgia Tech Center for European and Transatlantic Studies, the Alliance Française d’Atlanta and the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta as we celebrate Europe Day.

Monique Seefried, Ph.D, Commissioner at the World War I Centennial Commission will speak about “Why is the Centennial of World War I Relevant for Understanding Europe Today?”

Introductory remarks will be given by The Hon. Denis Barbet, Consul General of France and Dr. Vicki Birchfield, Co-director of the Center for European and Transatlantic Studies at Georgia Tech.

A wine and cheese reception will follow.
